# Getting Started

Please do not open a support ticket unless all steps are followed. Any error codes you may encounter can be found [Here](/r6-lite-full/error-codes.md)

1\): Disable/Uninstall **all** 3rd Party antivirus and turn off real time protection - Windows Security > Virus And Threat Protection > Manage Settings > Real Time Protection \[Off]

2\): Turn Off App And Browser Control - Windows Security > App & Browser Control > Reputation Based Protection Settings > Check Apps And Files \[Off]

3\): Download [dControl Here](https://mega.nz/file/Nbdl2J7Q#rOgokpf4OIz0G0H-0S-X7OkjLdmQFlh9sWl214zmHC4) and press "Disable Windows Defender"

4\): Uninstall Riot Vanguard & Face It Anti-cheat - Control Panel > Uninstall a Program (If you have them downloaded)

5\): Download WinRAR [Here](https://www.win-rar.com/fileadmin/winrar-versions/winrar/winrar-x64-624.exe)

6\): Disable Antivirus - Go onto Control Panel > Uninstall a program > Remove any installed antivirus software such as Norton, Avast, McAfee, Malwarebytes, Kaspersky, etc.
